Plaintiff Federal Trade Commission, (Commission), pursuant to Section 13(b) of the Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act), 15 U.S.C.5 53(b), filed a complaint for permanent injunction and other relief, including consumer redress, and applied ex parte for a temporary restraining order, including an order with asset freeze, appointment of a temporary receiver, and permitting immediate access to the Defendants' business premises and records, and an order to show cause why a preliminary injunction should not issue pursuant to Rule 65 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
